Extensive background in working with children, young people and adults with disabilities in various different settings.
Tom’s wife, together since 2016, bought a dog and our first house in 2017, had our first child in 2019, married and bought our forever home in 2022 and welcomed our second child in 2023.

Tom
After swimming competitively up to Regional level, and attending University to gain his Degree in Sport Coaching, Tom assisted in his Mum’s, Diane classes, as a teenager, and started to teach in 2005, after qualifying via Swim England (Swim England Level 1 and Level 2).
In 2013 Tom flew out to Australia to work alongside an Ex-Olympic Gold Medallist, and worked as a Swim Programme Manager, whilst he was here he gained his ASTCA Bronze Coaching license.

As a young girl, I swam at various different clubs up to regional level. I qualified as a Swimming Teacher (Swim England Level 1 and Level 2) in 2002.
I worked alongside my Mum (Diane) part-time whilst raising my two eldest boys and working as Deputy Manager at a Pre-School, during this time I completed my Early Years Education Level 3.

Growing up I always had a love for swimming, after going to University and gaining my Psychology degree, I qualified as a Primary School teacher in 2002 and worked in the sector for 14 years, specialising in Early Years.
After having my two children, I wanted a career change, but still wanted to work with children, so my Mum (Diane) encouraged me to become a swimming teacher.

I started to swim for Preston Swimming Club at the age of 6 years old, from there, I trained and competed with the Northern County Squad across the UK!
My first job was as a Draughtswoman and after having my three girls, I set up Glover’s Swim School in 1983, I set up the school after recognising a need for a swim school that gave children individual attention, water confidence and gentle encouragement – with a focus on ensuring correct stroke technique was taught from the earliest formative years.
