SEN Swimming Lessons
Our SEN swimming lessons are designed to be a fun and rewarding experience for children with additional support and/or learning needs. With a unique parent/guardian-supported, teacher-led approach, our lessons are catered to any child with additional support and/or learning needs.
Classes are small, ensuring each child receives plenty of individual attention from our specialist and experienced disability teachers. This allows for tailored instruction that meets each child's specific needs and learning pace and ensures individual attention and tailored instruction.
Swimming lessons for SEN children enhance water confidence, safety, basic swimming skills, coordination, motor skills, strength, fitness, and social interaction. They provide a fun, sensory-rich learning environment and opportunities for friendship-building.
Comprehensive Support
We provide a comprehensive range of support techniques, including Attention Autism, Movement to Music, and British Sign Language. We also include communication aids such as Now & Next and PECs, ensuring that we understand and can cater to your child's specific needs.

Swimming Lessons for Deaf Children
At Glovers Swim School, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident and safe in the water. That's why we offer specialised swimming lessons for deaf children designed to meet their unique needs. Our instructors are trained in deaf awareness and utilise a variety of communication methods, including sign language, visual cues, and demonstrations, to ensure clear and effective instruction.
Learning to swim is a crucial life skill, especially for deaf children who may not hear warnings or instructions in an aquatic environment. That is why we closely focus on each child's individual ability with our "A-Swim" classes!
